O Rimas e Batidas estreia em Portugal o quarto avanço de The King & I, álbum em que Faith Evans colabora com o ex-marido Notorious B.I.G., recriando novas faixas em torno dos versos que Biggie gravou, ainda em vida.
“Legacy” é o novo tema que sucede a “Ten Wife Commandments”, single que também teve estreia no Rimas e Batidas. No press-release, Faith Evans revela: “Se houvesse uma faixa-título para The King & I, seria ‘Legacy’. Esta canção resume absolutamente o tema do álbum.”
O longa-duração, que é editado no dia 19 de Maio, conta com 25 faixas em que convidados como Busta Rhymes, Jadakiss, Lil’ Cease, Lil’ Kim, Sheek Louch, Styles P e Snoop Dogg se juntam à homenagem e empregam versos em produções de Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs, DJ Premier, Just Blaze, Salaam Remi, Stevie J e Chucky Thompson.
